initial commit
I'm starting a blog.
I used to write over a decade ago, but stopped. I felt self-conscious about my opinions changing over time, and worried about cringing at the old me and wanting to recant. I think this was only a problem because my name was on it. Well, now it's not. I'm keeping this anonymous so I can just write without thinking about all that.
The decision to start writing again is partly an attempt to get used to finishing things and putting them in front of people, something I badly need to practise.
What made me pull the trigger on the blog was probably Henrik Karlsson's article, A blog post is a very long and complex search query to find fascinating people and make them route interesting stuff to your inbox.
